Northstar

Northstar is a new creative workplace located in the heart of Manchester’s vibrant Northern quarter.

Connected to a light filled atrium across 4 floors we are breathing new life into this modernist building and bringing it into the 21st century for a new community of forward thinking businesses to enjoy.

Inspired by the principles of The Bauhaus, we are bringing a sense of light, colour and energy back to the place with some surprising new additions.

Whether you are a business of 8 people or 80 there is space for you at Northstar.

A Modern Original

We respect the past in order to design the future.

Northstar is about preserving and improving a building that is part of Manchester’s special tapestry of the old and the new living side by side.

Our vision is about staying true to the building’s modernist roots, to bring out its natural character and inject it with fresh energy and a new sense of purpose.

Art and Soul

Art feeds the soul and we believe art is for everyone, not just something that lives in galleries.

Luckily we are right in the heart of Manchester’s most creative neighbourhood, the Northern Quarter, surrounded by like-minded people and home of some of the most vibrant street art in the UK. Art is central to Northstar’s vision.

Our facade and atrium will feature a giant anamorphic installation and we have exciting plans for a secret hidden artwork, which will both add to the the rich cultural fabric of the local area.

Joining the Dots

Great places to work cultivate a sense of community and encourage collaboration, places where people can come together and share ideas. They also respect personal privacy because sometimes you just have to get your head down and focus.

Northstar joins the dots between different types of space giving you the flexibility to move between office and breakout areas throughout the day.

A Different Perspective

Following your ambition requires tunnel and peripheral vision- a tight focus and the big picture. From the moment you enter Northstar through the dramatic light tunnel right through to looking out over the city from our duel aspect balconies you’ll feel like this is a place where you can develop your own vision.

Change your perspective. Find your Northstar.
